This program is working to address systemic barriers that have long hampered the growth and inclusion of Autistic individuals in the professional realm. Through a blend of knowledge sharing, stakeholder engagement, and coalition building, this initiative is working to change the employment landscape for those in the Autism community.
A Collaboration That Matters
Wells Fargo has continued to support the efforts of the Autism Society to focus on building resources and research, supporting and empowering the over 65+ affiliates of the organization. The goal will be that not only will this create opportunities for job-seekers but also equip employers with the necessary tools and understanding to value and nurture Autistic employees.
The initiative features community listening sessions, steered by the Employment Taskforce, as a pivotal part of its strategy. These sessions are designed to foster deeper understanding and gather insights from the Autism community, thereby shaping a program that is attuned to diverse needs and aspirations. This community engagement aims to facilitate a two-way dialogue that encourages Autistic individuals to actively participate in the development of strategies that will impact their futures.
