Rockville, MD, December 23, 2024   – The Autism Society of America is proud to announce the appointment of three distinguished new members to its Board of Directors, bringing a wealth of expertise, lived experience, and a shared passion for supporting individuals with Autism. The addition of Brittany Hoffmann-Eubanks, Carly Ott, and Jennifer Cook will help to advance the organization’s growth and impact.

Meet the New Board Members

Jennifer Cook

Jennifer Cook has been a longstanding member of the Autism Society of America’s, Council of Autistic Advisors, and is transitioning to the Council’s Chair position. A prominent Autism advocate and media expert, Jennifer is known for her work on Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning, Love on the Spectrum US. As an author of nine bestselling books, including Autism in Heels and The Asperkids (Secret) Book of Social Rules, Jennifer brings a profound ability to communicate the nuanced experiences of individuals with Autism. She consults for organizations like Twitch, MAX, Sesame Street, and Amazon, and her advocacy extends to work from Broadway to the National Institutes of Health.

Brittany Hoffmann-Eubanks

A pharmacist, medical writer, and entrepreneur, Brittany is the Founder and CEO of Banner Medical, LLC, a medical communications company specializing in needs assessments, continuing education, and scientific writing. With advanced degrees in Pharmacy and Business Administration from Drake University, Brittany is an active leader in the Illinois Pharmacists Association, where she served as a board member, journal editor, and co-chair of the Public Relations Committee. Her dedication to improving healthcare education and communication aligns closely with the Autism Society’s mission and commitment to accessible healthcare. Brittany is also the parent of a child with Autism, which drives her interest in serving on the board.

Carly Ott

Diagnosed with Autism at age 28, Carly is a Senior Vice President and Senior Architect within Global Operations at Bank of America, where she champions neurodiversity and accessibility as one of the chairs for their Disability Employee Resource Group. Carly has served as Chair of the Autism Society’s Council of Autistic Advisors and held leadership roles with the Autism Society of Ventura County and other Autism-focused organizations. Her lived experience and professional accomplishments make her a powerful voice for inclusion and empowerment.
