Rockville, MD, July 29, 2024 – The Autism Society of America is thrilled to announce the appointment of Vipin Gopal and Kait Ries to our esteemed National Board of Directors. Their dedication and expertise will further strengthen our mission to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully.
For over 25 years, Vipin Gopal, PhD, has successfully led data, AI and digital transformations at multiple Fortune 100 companies ranging from healthcare to aerospace. With his deep cross-industry expertise and innovative mindset, Vipin is recognized as a leading authority in reimagining business models through advanced technologies. Vipin is currently the Chief Data and Analytics Officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance. He has previously served as the Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Eli Lilly and Company, and Senior Vice President of Analytics at Humana. His academic training includes a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
“Having witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by individuals with Autism, I am honored to join the Autism Society of America’s Board of Directors,” said Vipin . “I am dedicated to contributing to initiatives that promote inclusion, support, and opportunities for everyone in the Autism community.”
Kait Ries joins the board with a strong background in strategic marketing, skilled at leading initiatives that significantly elevate business profiles and revenues. She began her career at Stitch Fix and then transitioned to an AI/ML SaaS startup, Bid Ops (later rebranded as Arkestro). Currently, Kait is the Head of Campaigns at Arkestro, driving innovative strategies and impactful initiatives for their Marketing Campaigns and Advisory Programs. She shares a deep passion for advocating for individuals with Autism, including her 8-year-old son, who loves swimming, surfing, and making significant strides with his AAC device.
