The Autism Society Network works every day to measurably improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by autism–a goal that is especially critical during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Our organization aims to provide resources and opportunity through advocacy, education, information & referrals, support, and community—which is why we want you to join us in raising funds and showing generosity during 2020’s Giving Tuesday Now event occurring May 5.

Since March 2020, the Autism Society of America has assisted our community by providing extensive information and resources for individuals and families affected by autism. We have assisted over 550 individuals through our National Helpline, reached over 100k people through our COVID-19 Facebook Live Coronavirus Information Series and Facebook Live partnership with MyHana, and provided practical resources to the 60,000 people who accessed our COVID-19 Toolkit on our website.

Our response to the global COVID-19 pandemic has pushed us even further into what it means to practice our overall mission to advocate for the passage of laws benefiting our community’s rights, providing education and training to create a more inclusive society–but it is not only our national organization that is working hard to serve our communities.

We know our community’s needs can be diverse, which is why affiliates such as those in the Inland Empire, Central Virginia, Greater Wisconsin and Minnesota have created region-specific events designed to provide information and resources to their communities, including a Virtual Hero Walk, a COVID-19 Relief Fund, and “Stronger Together in 2020,” a virtual autism conference accessible from the comfort and safety of home.

It is our mission to create a wider spectrum of opportunities for individuals and families affected by autism during the COVID-19 crisis, but we can’t do it without your help. Giving Tuesday Now, an emergency fundraiser for organizations and nonprofits across the world to come together on behalf of our communities while practicing physical distancing, is just one of the many ways that we hope you will assist us, so we might continue creating practical resources and information for our community during this challenging time.

You can donate online to our Giving Tuesday Now campaign, or mail a check to our national office with a pay order or memo line indicating your funds are designated to #GivingTuesdayASA. Our office address is as follows:
