Autism Society of America Announces Affiliate Emergency Relief Fund

Autism Society of America is proud to put together an Affiliate Emergency Relief Fund (AERF) for our network of affiliates who have been affected by emergencies or natural disasters. The fund will be distributed by the Autism Society of America to affiliates in need, and the use of funds will adhere to specific criteria for community use.

Donors do have the opportunity to designate which affiliate should received the fund, but unless otherwise noted the Autism Society will determine which affiliates need it most.

The AERF was created due to the devastation caused to the Autism Society’s Louisiana affiliates and their surrounding communities in August 2020. In addition to natural disasters, the AERF funds could be used for ongoing support throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, wildfire support, and more communal emergencies.
