Candice Hopkins
Director, National Helpline
Candice Hopkins is the Director of the National Helpline with the Autism Society of America. A passionate, empathetic advocate who has worked in nonprofits for over 25 years, she is delighted to be using her previous experiences and new knowledge from a recently completed Master’s of Human Services to build and sustain the Helpline. In a variety of organizations with focuses ranging from domestic violence to mental health and juvenile justice, Candice has built a depth of knowledge. Prior to joining this amazing team Candice was with an organization that provided national hotline services in multiple formats and honed a focus on the provision of consistent, quality services. Originally from the Midwest, Candice currently resides in Texas with her husband Tim, two children, Dylan and Adelaide, two dogs, and a gecko. When not out doing the parent of two children in sports thing she can be found out in the Texas Hill Country hiking with her dogs.
