Vanessa Zuber

Vanessa Zuber is the Director of Employment Services for United Cerebral Palsy of Southern AZ. She created and developed an employment services program for transition-age youth and adults with disabilities called WorkAbility. WorkAbility uses a holistic approach to the supported employment journey. She and her WorkAbility team have built collaborations with multiple employers and community partners. She believes that collaborations and relationship building are the answer to sustaining the future of employment supports for people with disabilities. Vanessa has over 20 yrs. of experience supervising and training direct support professionals, managing caseloads, and supporting adults with a variety of disabilities. Vanessa’s goal is to advocate for and support as many young adults with autism and other disabilities to make their transition into adulthood a seamless and person-centered journey. Vanessa is currently a founding board of director (Treasurer) for the Arizona Association of People Following Employment First (APSE) and is on the Professional Panel of the Advisory Board for the Autism Society of America. She also facilitates the Pima County Community of Practice on Transition in Arizona.
