Gary LaVigna, Ph.D.

Dr. LaVigna is a co-founder of the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis.  IABA was formed in 1981 and currently provides educational, supported living, supported employment, and behavior support services to over 500 children, adolescents, and adults who are considered to be on the spectrum.  He has served on the Professional Advisory Board of the Autism Society of America since 1977, serving as its Chairperson 1978-1981. He is an internationally recognized authority, on establishing effective non-aversive behavioral support services for people who are responding to their life conditions with severe and challenging behavior. His work is reported in numerous peer-reviewed articles and books.
