The Autism Society of America remains committed to supporting a strong network of affiliates that uphold our mission: “We create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully.” To maintain the integrity and quality of our brand, our affiliates must adhere to the highest standards of compliance and service.
On December 7, 2024, the Autism Society of America Board of Directors voted to disaffiliate the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin. Effective February 6, 2025, this organization will no longer be authorized to use the Autism Society name, brand, or operate as an Autism Society affiliate.
We encourage the community to continue supporting our trusted Wisconsin affiliates, the Autism Society South Central Wisconsin and the Autism Society Greater Wisconsin, both of which provide vital resources, advocacy, and programming. Discussions are underway to ensure continued coverage for the 13 counties surrounding Milwaukee, reinforcing our commitment to high-quality support throughout the state.
Through our affiliate network, the Autism Society has a national reach with meaningful, local impact. Grassroots advocacy allows us to serve Autistic individuals and community members with localized services and supports. The commitment, dedication, and resiliency of our affiliate network has strengthened our impact and connection to the Autism community.
