Brittany Hoffmann-Eubanks, PharmD, MBA

Dr. Brittany Hoffmann-Eubanks earned her Doctor of Pharmacy and MBA degrees from Drake University in 2012 and completed a PGY1 community pharmacy residency in 2013. She spent the next decade serving patients in her community and was recognized in 2018 with the Illinois Pharmacists Association’s Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award. In her nearly twenty years working in pharmacy, Brittany knows that the most important thing a pharmacist offers isn’t always medication. It’s often a genuine connection and relationship. She believes healthcare communication is a bridge: built with intention and care, it creates access, understanding, and trust; when it falls short, care becomes harder to give and receive, no matter how you communicate.
Brittany is also the parent of an Autistic child, which has further shaped her commitment to accessible, patient-centered care. She believes difference is not deficiency, and that Autistic people are whole, deserving of the same respect, dignity, love, and care as anyone else. Today, Brittany brings that same combination of clinical expertise and lived experience to her work with the Autism Society of America, where she serves on the Board of Directors and the first pharmacist on their Panel of Professional Advisors. She leads with evidence and humanity, listening first to Autistic people, their families, and caregivers, and working collaboratively to help ensure they have access to the care, supports and resources they want and need to thrive across their lifespan.
