My desire to work in autism advocacy is motivated largely by my experiences growing up with my younger brother Matthew, a young man on the autism spectrum who now lives in residential care.
Jeremy Cooper is one of two Development Specialists at the Autism Society of America, working to raise needed funds and create meaningful relationships. Jeremy received his Bachelor’s Degree from Oberlin College as well as his Master’s in Public Administration from American University with a focus in nonprofit management. His experience volunteering for the nonprofit that provides care for his brother is what inspired Jeremy to work for the Autism Society, helping families facing similar challenges. Raised in Pennsylvania, Jeremy currently resides in Washington, D.C.
